The vast majority of cryptocurrencies were trading higher on Tuesday. The biggest cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin, rose by 0.60 percent and is currently trading at $22,482.39 as of this writing. Ethereum, its closest competitor, increased by 1.09 percent to $1,574.667.
The values of other well-known cryptocurrencies, such as XRP, Polygon, Solana, Polkadot, and Avalanche, increased by 1.25 percent, 2.53 percent, 0.67 percent, 0.94 percent, and 3.43 percent, in that order. But during the past day, coins like Litecoin dropped by 0.60 percent while Cardano dropped by 0.19 percent.
At the time of writing, the entire cryptocurrency market volume had increased by 19.60 percent to $33.58 billion, while the worldwide cryptocurrency market value had increased by 0.70 percent to $1.03 trillion.
Winners and Losers
GMX, Fantom, Enjin Coin, Decentraland, and 6.92 percent, 6.71 percent, 6.92 percent, and 6.07 percent, respectively, are today's top gainers. Coins like Stacks and Maker, on the other hand, were in the red zone.
Rise in meme coins
Coins with popular memes saw price increases. Dogecoin, backed by Elon Musk, increased by 2.60 percent to $0.07561. Shiba Inu, another meme coin centred around dogs, increased by 2.33 percent and is currently trading at $0.00001121.
Metaverse tokens increase
Today, the majority of metaverse tokens saw an increase in price. Over the previous day, Axie Infinity expanded by 4.30 percent, Theta Network by 4.53 percent, The Sandbox by 3.97 percent, and Zilliqa by 3.33 percent.
