After qualifying, the Black Queens' head coach, Nora Hauptle, said her team is eager to compete at the 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana defeated Namibia 3-2 on aggregate in the final qualifier round, despite losing 1-0 in the second leg, to secure their spot in the continental competition for the first time since 2018.
Hauptle, who broke down in tears after the game, is adamant that her team' efforts were worthy of qualification.
We're done performing today because we qualified. After the match, she declared, "Ghana is back in the WAFCON, and we are hungry and willing to play there. I think a lot of the players deserve it."

We won 10 of our 11 games this year, which makes me proud, and I think we can have a good Christmas."
With a match against Zambia in February, the Swiss coach is also hoping to guide Ghana to their first Olympic Games participation the following year.
