Merado closes Ejisu with a concert of My Motherland
Amerado, a musician from Ghana, drew hundreds of enthusiastic attendees to his My Motherland performance, which was held in Ejisu, in the Ashanti Region.
Following his recent national success, Amerado conducted his first self-organized concert to honour his roots in Ejisu, a historic village, to the delight of hundreds of fervent fans crammed into Okese Park.
Colleagues including Fameye, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, Lasmid, Eno Barony, Fancy Gadam, and Kweku Darlington helped the Kwaku Ananse hitmaker.
OT n Aiges, Kwame Barry, SevenKizs, Rap Fada, and numerous others were among the performers.
Every performance by their favourite stars was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, who couldn't get enough of them showing them love.
In addition, the performance provided a platform for over 20 emerging artists to showcase their skills in front of an enthusiastic audience.
The audience jammed throughout the performances, only breaking up when the event was completed, and the 7 p.m. start time of the concert ended at 6 a.m. the next day.
Amerado organised a health walk for the people of Ejisu earlier in the day.
They marched down some of the main streets in the town, encouraging wellness.
The annual My Motherland performance from Amerado in Ejisu is scheduled for 2024, and the fans can't wait to see what will happen.
