Artist Kurl Songx, from Ghana, claims that his recent album, 911, was motivated by a heartbreak he had in a previous relationship.
He revealed on Daybreak Hitz that he was so frustrated by the separation that he sold his air conditioner among other things.
"I sold my air conditioner because I had a broken heart, which is why my new song is called 911."
"As for broken hearts, some people dey chop," he said, "so it means I have truly been broken for me to sell my air conditioner."
He claims that the ex-girlfriend who caused him pain is a well-known TikTok influencer. But he wouldn't give her identify away.
Kurl Songx said, "She is popular on TikTok, so when she left me, it hurt me."
He went on to say that while not many people knew about their connection, it was more of a private one. "Yes, in my circle, it was kept between us for someone who likes to keep his things private," he said.
He is pleading with his followers to listen to his latest release, 911, which features Ko-Jo Cue, as he claims it contains the details of the breakup.
Kurl Songx also disclosed that he had tried in vain to make amends with his ex-girlfriend.
