Kuame Eugene |
About his Sunday car accident, Lynx Entertainment has reassured the public that its musician Kuami Eugene is responding to therapy.
On the N1 highway, which has no street lights, the "Monica" hitmaker's vehicle collided with the rear of a tipper truck that was travelling slowly and without a tail light. The company verified in a news release on Monday that Kuami Eugene's single companion also suffered injuries.
Lynx Entertainment stated that they are receiving treatment at a medical centre and that their lives were spared.
The firm stated, "We appreciate the love and support we've received from fans, the media, and the public, but we ask that the artist be given plenty of space as he starts his recovery."
This is in response to Kuami Eugene's involvement in the collision that happened at CP, near the DSTV office, heading towards the Accra traffic light at Dzorwulu.

The collision happened at 11:30 p.m., according to Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, Editor of the Modern Ghana news portal, who was directly behind the musician's vehicle.
He clarified that when the musician collided with the tipper truck from behind, it was moving, although slowly.
He thinks the collision happened because there were not enough street lights on the N1 highway, making it dark, and the tipper truck's absence of a tail light made visibility worse.
He thinks that if Kuami Eugene had been irresponsible and had been speeding, the collision would have been deadly.
Mr. Abugri told Myjoyonline.com that it wasn't until he moved closer to offer assistance that he realised it was the musician in the vehicle with one male passenger.
According to Mr. Abugri, when other drivers pulled over, some offered to bring Kuami Eugene and his passenger to the hospital, while he waited for the police to show along, provided them with his account, and gave them the tripper truck driver.
