Dr. Amina Haarun, a medical professional, has expressed regret for remarks she posted on social media in the wake of artist Kuami Eugene's hospitalisation at the hospital where she works.
The doctor shared a health update on social media after the "Monica" hitmaker's mishap, stating that things weren't looking well for him. She urged people to offer prayers for the performer. However, Dr. Haarun regretted for breaking the code of ethics in a press release that was circulated on social media, saying that her actions were inconvenient and had an adverse effect on the performance of her team as a whole.
"I acknowledge the gravity of the situation and accept full responsibility for my conduct. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience my breach of our "code of ethics" may have caused the patient. Errors happen so that we can learn from them. Going forward, I promise not to make the same mistakes again, and I'm working hard to find a solution as quickly as I can," the woman wrote.
Dr Haarun continued, "I will gladly serve my punishment by staying away from any Hospital facility unless called. I accept the consequences of both my licence being suspended for three months."

Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, the Editor of the Modern Ghana news portal, said that he was directly behind the musician's vehicle when the accident happened at around 11:30 p.m.
He clarified that when the musician crashed into the tipper truck from behind, it was moving, although slowly.
He thinks the collision happened because there were not enough street lights on the N1 highway, making it dark, and the tipper truck's absence of a tail light made visibility worse.
He claimed that if Kuami Eugene had not been careful or had been speeding, the collision would have been fatal.
