The reason behind Okyeame Kwame's "Sika" feature on Kofi Kinaata is revealed.

Answering to inquiries about why he collaborated with Kofi Kinaata on his most recent song, "Sika," is Ghanaian musician Okyeame Kwame.

Many music lovers have praised the collaboration's synergy and questioned why the Rap Dacta and the Fante Rap God collaborated on such a masterpiece since the song's March 4, 2024 release.

since per Okyeame Kwame, he had long desired to collaborate on a song with Kofi Kinaata, since he holds his creative abilities in high regard. Up until Kofi Kinaata came along and changed the story by winning Songwriter of the Year on three occasions, Kwame was the only person to have won the title twice at the Ghana Music Awards (GMA).

"I asked him to record a song because I was curious about what was going through his mind. It was during the recording process that I discovered why he is such a fantastic writer—'the boy get common sense period'. Extremely clever, extremely sharp; he knows the trade and the trick," he remarked.

In addition, Okyeame Kwame stated that, given Kofi Kinaata's exceptional creative qualities, collaborating on a song is a significant chance for him.

"Sika" wants to encourage people to embrace life's whims in order to get by.

"That's who I've become now; the majority of what I do is try to highlight the good and bad parts of my journey from poverty to wealth," he remarked.

"Sika" is a catchy fusion of the free-spirited lyricism of Kofi Kinaata and the deftly woven rhythmic African poetry (RAP) with a melodic touch of Okyeame Kwame. 'Sika' is a blend of highlife and drill musically.
