Wendy Shay Early Life
On February 20, 1996, Wendy Shay was born in Accra, a neighbourhood of Ghana's Greater Accra Region, to Mr. and Mrs. Addo. After her father died, she and her three siblings relocated to Stuttgart, Germany. Wendy's father died when she was four years old, and this deepened her love of music.
Before relocating to Stuttgart, she attended St. Martin de Porres and Morning Star School in Accra. There, she finished her education through grade 7. (JHS 1).
She also attended a German music school in Bernhausen.

Wendy Shay Career
Wendy Shay is a registered nurse with expertise working in a clinical setting as a midwife. She was a midwife before moving to Ghana to follow her artistic dreams.
Following the untimely demise of label partner Ebony Reigns, she signed with Rufftown Records Manager Bullet in January 2018 and was first exposed to music. On June 1st, 2018, Wendy Shay's first single, "Uber Driver," produced by MOG Beatz, was made available.
On the same day, the official music video and song were made available.
Wendy Shay was recently appointed as the Ahenemba Hemaa of Gomoa Afransi in the Central Region (Ghana), taking on the stool name Queen Ewurabena Ofosuhemaa Shay 1.
