After Shatta Wale was caught on camera "mocking" his colleague Stonebwoy's disability, the Shatta Movement Empire issued an apology to the members of the Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled.
The manager of Shatta Wale, Samuel Atuobi Baah, signed a letter to the GSPD stating that the "Melisa" hitmaker had no intention of mocking or disparaging people with disabilities.
The well-known Sammy Flex stated that his artist merely wished to highlight Stonebwoy's obligation to behave properly and with respect for others.
"We accept the concerns expressed and recognise that the statement's wording may have been disrespectful.
He stated, "We value and respect the contributions and rights of individuals with disabilities in our society, and it was not our intention to cause any harm."
According to Sammy Flex, the Shatta Movement is dedicated to advancing understanding and inclusivity.
In the future, we'll work to be more conscious of the things we say and do. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and for your understanding, he continued.
Stonebwoy was targeted by Shatta Wale at the Fadama Sallah Fest for not showing up for the much awaited Sallahfest event.
He made light of Stonebwoy's limp during his tirade on stage, using some "unprintable" language that many believed was unnecessary, despite his animosity against the "Nominate" hitmaker.
A week later, though, the GSPD denounced Shatta Wale's acts, calling them reckless and maybe dangerous for the psychological well-being of the community of people with physical disabilities.
In response to his remarks, the GSPD said in a press release that they had "seen a video circulating on social media where Shatta Wale mocks Stonebouy with his disability."
Among other derogatory remarks, Shatta Wale remarked in the video, "You are a disabled person; don't try to fight an able person because you are a bad person, which is why God made you a disabled person."
By making this claim, he is attempting to imply that all people with disabilities are evil, which is why God created each of us uniquely. Shata Wale, a well-known figure, shouldn't have made such a crude statement, the statement said.

The group demanded that Shatta Wale issue an apology to the public and take action to take down the insulting videos from social media.
Additionally, in response to Shatta Wale's remarks from the Sallahfest stage, musician Bosheba De Shyne expressed his dissatisfaction in the musician.
The disabled musician expressed his disapproval of an artist he looks up to weaponizing their condition and using it as a means of defaming a fellow musician.
In the meantime, Shatta Wale and his team's apologies has been acknowledged by the GSPD in a recent press statement.
"We acknowledge the apologies and value their dedication to advancing inclusivity, as it is imperative that we collaborate to establish a more welcoming atmosphere for everyone, irrespective of disabilities."
"We also want to take this chance to express our gratitude to all stakeholders for their support and to the disability community for their patience. Let us keep in mind that anyone can experience a disability at any time," they said.
