On July 6, 2024, Stonebwoy, the superstar of Ghanaian dancehall, reggae, and Afrobeats, headlined the second day of Summerjam, the largest dancehall and reggae event in Germany.
His outstanding performance brightened the atmosphere of the festival and brought back fond memories of the previous year's affair.Around 4:30 p.m., the African celebrity arrived on stage and began his act with a rendition of "OverLord." This 2023 single, which pays homage to his dancehall and reggae beginnings, was a big hit with his German fan base.
The album '5Th Dimension' was released in 2023, and this was the first official single. After that, 1 GAD played a number of beloved singles, such as "Run Go" from 2015, "People Dey" from 2016, "Activate," a song he co-wrote with Davido, and his most recent single, "Your Body," which was praised as the ideal summer anthem for the festival.
In honor of the late great reggae pioneer Bob Marley, Stonebwoy began his set with a performance of "Praise Jah In The Moonlight" and his verse on the "Buffalo Soldier" remix. He then quickly moved through hits including "Hero," "Apotheke," which included DJ Maphorisa, "Non-Stop," and "Life & Money."
With his selection at Summerjam, Stonebwoy will be making his third festival performance following his historic debut in 2018 and his headline set in 2022.

His performance came after his recent travels throughout Europe, which included a stop at Paris Fashion Week and a private recording session in London with the renowned Wyclef Jean. His latest song, "Your Body," a colorful visual story honoring African beauty, self-love, and body positivity, was just published.
