Tiwa Savage VS Shatta wale(shatta movement)
8 years now and I think I have recorded a song with shatta wale but he keeps making me re-write my verse and record it every year and he's still telling me it ain't good enough. That guy has got composure. Tiwa savage
"First day I met shatta wale like 8years ago, he pretended like he don't even know me like I knew shatta and I was excited to meet him but he wasn't even moved when he saw me.
So, I took his contact, gave mine, and asked him to text later when he's chanced. I mean Shatta—from what I know—is a busy man.
I waited like 4 days and I never saw a message from Shatta, so I texted him, and it was like: "Yoo why u no dey text me?" And he replied: "Been very bũsy these days."
I was like, WTF! No man lets me just blow him off. So I told him to come over to my studio so we could record, but he wanted me to go over to his studio.
Impressed with such a proud, fine gentleman, I went into his studio and then had to wait about 30 minutes for him to show up.
'Cause he didn't even come in happy to see me, like most other artistes would normally do when they see me. He was just like, "I'm cool, let's work.".
We made the recording of the track, and when we finished it, I asked Shatta when he was going to release it, and he said he didn't know.
So after I left, he called me, 2 weeks later, talking about my verse wasn't cutting it, so I sent him another verse, and he said the same thing.
The shit kept playing ping-pong on me, and that's 8 years now, still sending my verse to Shatta Wale, but he doesn't like.
From an artist's perspective, I get that he never wants to release a song if he is not feeling it, but at least he should take me into consideration because it has been 8 years now. I have done everything to my best, but he is not pleased.

Moral of the story: Hopefully Shatta listens to her cry, and writes lyrics for her that he wants to hear.
