Sabrina Carpenter presented fans with the greatest Valentine's Day gift on Feb. 14, 2025, releasing the deluxe version of her highest-selling record Short n' Sweet. After capitalizing so handsomely from her awards victory at the Grammys when she took the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance on "Espresso" as well as for Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n' Sweet, Carpenter had little time before adding even more tracks to deliver unto her music fanatics.
Just two days after her night to remember at the Grammys, Carpenter surprised fans by announcing a deluxe edition of Short n' Sweet, the twist being a surprise but exhilarating partnership: a remix of her chart-topping hit "Please Please Please" with country music legend Dolly Parton. On social media, Carpenter squealed her delight, posting, "Yes, that does say featuring Miss Dolly Parton…. ???????????? she wouldn't have me swear, but holy s–t!!!!!
Aside from the star-studded remix, Short n' Sweet Deluxe has four new songs: "15 Minutes," "Couldn't Make It Any Harder," "Busy Woman," and "Bad Reviews." These new songs add to the experience of the fans, bringing new richness to the already compelling sound of the album. Released in August 2024, Short n' Sweet took the music world by surprise and went to No. 1 on the Billboard 200, a milestone for Carpenter's career. The hit single "Please Please Please" quickly gained traction and made it to the Billboard Hot 100, which further solidified Carpenter's rise in the pop music scene.
